Using the calculators

You can use every calculator without an account and without giving us anything. The numbers you type stay in your browser. Switching country adds ?country= to the address bar so you can share or bookmark the page; nothing is sent to us.

Emailing yourself a result

If you choose to enter an email address and press “Get copy”, we collect that address together with the calculator name, the country you selected, the inputs you entered and the results. We store this as a line in a log file on our server so that the copy can be re-sent if delivery fails, and we send the email through our email provider, Resend. If a spreadsheet webhook is configured, the same record is also appended to a private spreadsheet we control. We use this data only to send you the copy you asked for and to understand which calculators are used. We do not sell, rent or share it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and a handful of anonymous events (a calculation, a country switch, a copied result, an emailed result, an embedded view). No calculator inputs, results or email addresses are sent to Google. If your browser indicates you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, analytics is off until you accept it in the small banner, and your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage. Elsewhere it is on by default. You can decline or withdraw at any time by clearing that storage.

Embedded calculators

Calculators embedded on other websites load from dentalbible.org inside an iframe. The same rules above apply inside the frame. We do not receive information about the page hosting the embed beyond what any web request carries.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics, when enabled, sets its own cookies under its privacy policy.

Retention and your rights

Email records are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. You can ask for your record to be deleted or sent to you at any time by contacting us through the site. We will confirm within 30 days.

Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new date at the top.
